Crosby takes a crosscheck to the head. Buccigross tweets that it’s probably not a leg injury…

So Crosby takes a crosscheck pretty clearly to the head there, crawls around on the ice coming back to life again (obvious concussion sign number 2),  and then skates off the ice hunched over with ALL OF HIS WEIGHT ON HIS KNEES.

One of ESPN’s few remaining hockey “experts” after they cleared house last week tweets this gem out.

uhhh….do ya think? Hot take there Buccigross.

Thats not even the weirdest part about it, you can see at the bottom of the tweet that he said that at 7:06. I’m on the west coast and the game started at 4:30ish so that means he tweeted that out in the middle of the 3rd period. Crosby got hit five minutes into the 1st period and it took him like two hours to come up with that “educated guess”?

Earlier today on NHL.com, turns out crosschecks to the head do in fact lead to concussions.

I wonder how proud of himself he was to see this on NHL’s Website, just walking around like he totally nailed it.

Also:  Yesterday on Around the Horn Ramona Shelburne called the Vezina trophy the “VAZEENA” trophy. ESPN hockey coverage continues to be…well ESPN hockey coverage.
